Website analytics
We use first-party analytics to understand which pages people visit and how often they start downloading Kindling.
What is counted
Public page views, approximate visits, referring website names, broad device categories, and requests through the Windows download button. Downloads are counted when requested; this does not tell us whether a transfer finished or the game was installed.
How visits work
A random identifier is kept in your browser’s session storage for the current tab. The analytics service hashes it separately each day to group page views into visits. Closing the tab ends that browser session. We do not store IP addresses, full referrer URLs, or advertising identifiers in this analytics data.
Page-view tracking respects your browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control settings. Browser restrictions or disabled JavaScript may also prevent page-view tracking. Download requests are counted separately without a visitor identifier.
Who can see it
Analytics are stored in Supabase and are available through a private administrator dashboard. Supabase also manages administrator authentication under its privacy policy. Netlify also processes requests to deliver and protect this website under its own privacy policy.
